Adults from outside New Mexico, including Texas visitors, may purchase cannabis from a licensed New Mexico retailer when they meet the age and ID requirements. However, transporting cannabis across any state line is illegal under federal law. Cannabis purchased in New Mexico must remain in New Mexico.
